Old Dominion University's new Ph.D. in cybersecurity, the first of its kind in Virginia, aims to build a research pipeline for AI security, infrastructure, and supply chain threats. The program launches this fall with 12-15 expected students within a school that has about 1,700 enrollments. ODU's school was recognized by the NSA last year for AI cyber applications.
